Day 2: Me and Galilee

Thursday, August 14  11:30 pm

Today was a great day.  Started off the day with a visit to the synagogue at Capernaum.  This is the place where Jesus started his ministry.  It was a great place to start our journey. We also went to the Church of Magnification which is located on the spot that Jesus fed the 5000 and the Mount Of Beatitudes where Jesus gave the Sermon on the Mount.  Met with a charismatic Arab-Israeli pastor who talked to us about the state of the church in Israel and Palestine and later a soldier talked to us about the situation with Lebanon as he showed us the Israeli-Lebanon border from the top of a mountain.  It’s been a full day, check out the pictures below.

I dont know what is more gangsta – u wearing a shooter’s t-shirt or the comments I am reading from your membership. we are definitely a gangsta church. how about seeing if they can get some shooter’s sandals and shooter’s dashikis made for next trip. that would be hot – a shooters line for the Holy Land. find out what shooter’s means in arabic (is that right) or is it aramaic? u know all i know is ebonics…lol. that was funny. hit me up later on the celly. peace

    I can’t believe you didn’t inform me that your were making this journey. I would have sent some AWESOME accessories for that Shooters get-up. Of course, I’m late on my response, as usual, late on everything. LOL. You are overly blessed for the opportunity only a man will dream of.
